Joujik Terminal

Terms of Use

End-User License Agreement (EULA) · Version 2026-06-03 · Effective 3 June 2026

These Terms of Use (the “Terms”) are a binding agreement between you (“you”) and Joujik, operated by Dor Amihai (“Joujik”, “we”), governing your use of the Joujik Terminal application for macOS (the “Software”). By checking “I have read and agree” and activating the Software, you accept these Terms. If you do not agree, do not activate or use the Software.

1. License grant

Upon purchase and activation with a valid license token, Joujik grants you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use one (1) copy of the Software on a single Mac that you own or control, for your own use. The license is perpetual for the version you purchased, subject to these Terms.

2. One token, one machine — up to 5 activations

Each license token activates the Software on exactly one machine (node-locked), and may be activated up to five (5) times in total across machine changes. Only one machine may be active at a time. To move the Software to another Mac, deactivate it from the current Mac (“Deactivate this Mac” inside the app), or request a device reset from support at service@joujik.com, which frees the seat for a new activation. You may not use a single token on more than one machine at a time.

3. Restrictions

4. Activation & connectivity

Activation requires a one-time internet connection to verify your token and bind your machine. After activation, the Software runs offline and does not require a network connection to function. Deactivation, and activation after a support-assisted device reset, require an internet connection.

5. Ownership

The Software is licensed, not sold. Joujik retains all right, title, and interest in and to the Software, including all intellectual property rights. No rights are granted except as expressly set out in these Terms.

6. Price & payment

The Software is offered for a one-time fee of US$10 (introductory launch pricing). Payment and any applicable taxes are handled by our authorized third-party payment provider, which acts as the merchant for the transaction; Joujik never receives your full payment-card details.

7. Updates

We may, at our discretion, provide updates or new versions. Nothing in these Terms obligates us to provide updates, support, or maintenance.

8. Disclaimer of warranty

THE SOFTWARE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE”, WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION THE IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. YOU USE THE SOFTWARE AT YOUR OWN RISK.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Joujik’s total aggregate liability arising out of or relating to the Software or these Terms shall not exceed the amount you actually paid for the Software. In no event shall Joujik be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, profits, or business.

10. Termination

This license terminates automatically if you breach these Terms. Upon termination you must stop using the Software and remove it from your devices.

11. Privacy

Your use of the Software is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes the limited data collected during activation.

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Israel, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. The competent courts of Tel Aviv-Jaffa shall have exclusive jurisdiction, subject to any mandatory consumer-protection rights you may have in your country of residence.

13. Changes

We may update these Terms; the version and effective date above will change accordingly. Continued use after an update constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
